My good friends worked with Bill on their move to Melrose and they couldn't say enough nice things about him and his team- they felt he really went above and beyond in their home buying process and move. This review is long overdue. I know others could be in a similar situation at some point and wanted to share my experience. In 2021 I was faced with the difficult decision to sell my mom’s home in Melrose after her sudden passing. I did not know where to begin as I reside in Florida. I contacted a friend of a friend who is a real estate agent in Florida for advice. He happened to have just hired ‘Tom’ who recently moved to Florida from Massachusetts. Tom immediately suggested I call Bill Butler with the Butler Group. Tom spoke very highly of Bill, and I decided it would not hurt to reach out to Bill and have a discussion. I did some research and decided to make the call. I let Bill know that I was not in any hurry to sell, but if he were willing to be patient and help me navigate this journey, we would eventually put the house on the market. Bill was more than patient throughout the entire process. There was something about him that put me at ease, and I trusted his expertise. He was careful with every word used to describe the house and the preparation to list it as he sensed the emotional attachment the family had and the difficulty with letting it go. The published materials provided were impressive and informative. We listed the house on a Thursday with final offers due the following Tuesday. That is all it took; we accepted one of the generous offers and closed six weeks later. The level of professionalism from the entire team was outstanding.
